My name is Nancy Yeager and I have been a registered nurse for the past 28 years.
I have also had challanges with my weight ever since I was 12 years old. I remember when I was in middle school I would come home for lunch and just heat up a can of green beans so that I could loose some weight. As a result of my weight challanges I have read many books over the past 30 years on diet and exercise in a search for something that would work for me. Recently, I put together a program that combines the concepts of managing insulin spikes, ph balance, glycemic index of foods, the benefits of fiber and exercise into a weight loss program.
This is a program that DOES NOT eliminate any food groups. I have enjoyed learning about foods and how to combine the right ones at the right times in the right proportions to train your body to use it's fat burning glucagone instead of insulin which is our fat storing hormone.
It is important to be persistant with this program until the concepts become CONSISTANT in your life style as it has with mine.
I am 50 years old and have lost 45 pounds in just 6 months. Have you ever heard someone say "I just can't loose those last 10 pounds!!" I didn't have that problem with this system. I said I wanted to loose 30 pounds and I did. Then I decided I would loose 10 more and I did! Then I decided I was going on a cruise and I would loose 5 more before going and I did!!! You will not loose a pound a day like some radical diets promise. What you will do is lose around 2 pounds a week. In the process you will be training your body to burn fat as energy instead of storing it and being hungry. You will learn about different properties of food that you can use in whatever situation you are in. weather that be a party, or out to eat. Through your exercise you will be increasing the health of your 1. Heart 2. Lungs 3. all your blood vessels 4. keep bones strong 5. toning your muscles instead of losing muscle. 6. increasing blood and oxygen flow to your brain. Your cravings and hunger will decrease. You will have more SELF CONTROL, and boy does that fell good!!!!

Eating junk food is only enjoyable during the time you are ingesting it, but being thin feels good all day every day! You can do more with less exertion. I now can go on hikes with my husband and family without being the slowest one having to take breaks every 5 minutes. I can play volleyball with the women at chruch much better then when I weighed 45 pounds more. I am not embarrassed about my size. Buying clothes is easier.
This is not say I never cheat or slip. There are times I eat too much dessert, but then I start right back on the program the next day and I'm ok!
